Juliana y José are a young Argentinean tango couple united by their passion for tango, their dedication to dancing and their wonderful friendship. 

 

José Almar started dancing tango in 1999 and has trained with some of the most prestigious maestros and milongueros.Over the last eight years he has been performing and teaching extensively in Argentina and Latin America as well as in Europe, particularly in Russia and Ukraine. He has taken part in many international Tango Festivals and had the privilege of dancing and working with Milena Plebs, Graciela González and Stella Missé.  

 

Juliana Aparicio trained as a rhythmic gymnast in her childhood and started studying ballet and modern jazz in her teens. She currently gives regular classes in both disciplines. Since 2007, she has devoted herself exclusively to tango and has trained with Alejandra Armenti and Daniel Juárez, Christian Marquez and Virginia Gomez "Los Totis" and Javier Rodríguez just to mention few of them. They started dancing together in July 2011 and since then they have been teaching workshops and performing in Buenos Aires as well as in Europe and Asia.

 

They have also participated in International Festivals such as Seoul Tango Festival 2012 (South Korea), 5o Apulia Tango Festival (Bari, Italy), 4th Bucharest Tango Fantasia (Romania), 2nd Rhodes Tango Festival (Greece) to mention a few. They have performed in the most prestigious milongas in Buenos Aires, namely Sunderland Club, Salón Canning, Porteño y Bailarín among others; and have given classes and workshops both in Buenos Aires and abroad, including Italy, Romania, Russia, Greece and Turkey where they were invited to teach in various provinces. They were giving regular classes in Buenos Aires, in the Studios "Ensueño" of Sebastian Achaval y Roxana Suarez and "Berretin" of Hugo Mastrolorenzo.

 

In the current month of August 2013 they are giving group lessons in privates Studios in the neighborhoods of Palermo and Almagro, the heart of the Capital of Buenos Aires.
